Lison de Caunes decided to continue the legacy of her grandfather the famous decorator Andre Groult and dedicated herself to the art of straw marquetry.
She contributed to the revival of this lost marquetry technique and taught an entire generation of craftsmen who today successfully work in their own name.
Now she works on the world’s most prestigious interiors. Inspired by Lison de Caunes, interior designers are turning to this material again and again in their exclusive projects.
Among her clients are French and American designers such as Peter Marino, Mathieu Lehanneur, Vincent Darré, as well as world famous luxury brands Cartier, Guerlain, Davidoff and others.
