The fabulous Hubert Le Gall
Sculptor, designer and scenographer, Hubert Le Gall is an atypical French artist. Nature and the animal world serve as inexhaustible sources of inspiration for him.
Full of mischief, he likes to challenge the seriousness of our world and appeal to his child soul to offer poetic and humorous pieces. Pinocchio, the flower table, Odilon the rabbit… are emblematic figures of his work.
Made in the tradition of the French decorative arts, his creations are collectibles and attract esthetes from all over the world, recently with the sale, at Christies London, of more than 3 times their estimate of the Anthémis chest of drawers (€ 115,798) or even Odilon floor lamp (€ 77,200).
Curated by Pamela Mulin, an exceptional book “Fabula” presents the Norman home of the devoted American collector, filled with works by Hubert Le Gall. See our special evening dedicated to the artist and this book.
Hubert Le Gall regularly creates new pieces presented at the Avant-Scène gallery in Paris.
He also continues to stage exhibitions such as the recent ones in Paris, “Les Nabis et le Décor” for the Musée du Luxembourg and “La Collection Alana” for the Musée Jacquemart André.
